Report on Valedictory Programme of Certificate Course on Oncology Nursing

The valedictory program of the Certificate Course in Oncology Nursing offered by Medical-Surgical Nursing department of 188体育平台 College of Nursing (MCON), MAHE 188体育平台, to Staff Nurses of Kasturba Hospital, 188体育平台 during the period from 1st September 2021 to 30th November 2021 will be held on 27th December 2021 between 3:00 pm and 4.00 pm at the Conference Hall of Shirdi Saibaba Block, KH, 188体育平台.

Dr Avinash Shetty, Medical Superintendent of Kasturba Hospital was the chief guest for the programme, Dr Suba Sooria, Head of Nursing Services, KH 188体育平台 was the guest of honour. Dr Jyothi Chakrabarthy, head of the department; Medical-Surgical Nursing, MCON welcomed the gathering. The awardees of the certificate were presented by Mrs Janet Alva, Assistant Professor, Medical-Surgical Nursing 188体育平台 MCON 188体育平台. The certificates for the participants of the course and resource person were awarded by Dr Avinash Shetty, Dr Suba Sooria & Dr Judith A Norohna, Dean 188体育平台 College of Nursing. Dr Avinash Shetty congratulated the participants and encouraged them to put the theory into practice for the continual improvement of quality care. Dr Suba Sooria emphasized the need to continuously update the knowledge and skills to improve the care of our patients. Dr Judith A Norohna, motivated all participants of the certificate course to apply evidence-based practice to improve the quality of care of our patients. The course was well appreciated through the feedback given by the participants of the course.
