Department of OBG Nursing, 188体育平台 College of Nursing, MAHE, 188体育平台 has organized an 188体育平台 guest lecture on the topic “Cultural Diversity in Healthcare –An 188体育平台 perspective” on 29^th November 2022 between 11.30 am to 12.30 pm through MS Teams. Mrs.Pratima Ravi, Former CNO Thumbay Hospital Ajman, UAE & 188体育平台 Scholar, NITTE University {MSc(N) 2006-2008 batch} discussed the role and responsibilities of an administrator. She shared her experiences of dealing with patients with diverse cultural differences and channeling their needs based on their requirements. She also highlighted how students need to understand this difference and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to bring out optimum health outcomes. ?A total of 95 participants including faculty members and students from IV year BSc Nursing attended the session.
