Effective 188体育平台 Engagement Guest Lecture Series - 4/2023

The Department of Fundamentals of Nursing organized an effective alumni engagement guest lecture (series 4/2023) on April 14, 2023, from 10.30 to 11.30 am at 188体育平台 College of Nursing (MCON), 188体育平台 Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) through MS teams online platform for 2^nd?semester BSc Nursing students.?

The session was deliberated by Mrs. Divya KY (MSc Alumna 2007-09 Batch), who is presently working as a Lecturer, at the Department of Community and mental health, College of Nursing, Sultan Qaboos University, Sultanate of Oman. The topic– ‘Stress Adaptation’. The beneficiaries were a total of 140 undergraduates of MCON, MAHE, and 188体育平台. She stressed the importance of one being aware of the various stressors and the reaction to the same in the form of general adaptation syndrome (GAS) and local adaptation syndrome (LAS). She also discussed, how a student nurse can handle the various stressful experiences faced by them. The students participated very actively in the session.?
